Climbing Up the Ladder | 24 July 2025
Purpose: To recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of the university’s leading researchers and departments during the academic year 2024–25.
Chief Guest: Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Chairperson, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC)
The event was graced by the worthy Vice Chancellor, UET, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, along with Deans of all faculties, Chairpersons of teaching departments, faculty members, officers, and staff of UET Lahore.
The Department of Petroleum & Gas Engineering received recognition and an award for being the top-ranked engineering department in the Faculty of Earth Sciences & Engineering. The award was received by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khurram Zahoor, Chairman, Department of Petroleum & Gas Engineering, UET Lahore.
Following the ceremony, the faculty and staff members congratulated the Chairman on this achievement and reaffirmed their commitment to continue working with the same dedication and motivation to further strengthen and uplift the department. The Chairman also expressed his gratitude to the faculty and staff for their support and contributions in achieving this milestone.
