The department has adequate research facilities for postgraduate students and faculty. The department’s vision encompasses research as a vital tool that actively contributes to academia and industry. In the same perspective, the department works in close collaboration with the industry in various research domains that include:

  3. Drilling Optimization and Performance
  4. Enhanced Oil Recovery
  5. Well Testing and Formation Evaluation

 

The Department also organizes seminars, workshops, and extension lectures on technologically challenging issues of national and international importance related to Petroleum & Gas Engineering, for enlightenment and research orientation of students and faculty.
